Long time no post--I know

Ok without the internet at home it is so hard to keep my blog up. We now have dial-up so I can keep up a little better- but it is really slow so I can only do it when i have the patience. So the girls are back to school and doing great with their new teachers. Mckenzie and addyson are enjoying there more individual time with mom. Jonathan is busy with his cross country team, their meets start next week. He is excited for a great season. We are starting our second big remodel job on the house at the end of september and will be done for awhile after that. I cant wait till fall, it is my favorite time of year.
We did finally find a camper again- we ended up getting a class C so the kids love being able to sit on the couch or sleep on the way to the campsite. We are planning a big road trip for next summer. The kids are already very excited. We are close to so many camping places that we dont have to drive far.

More summer fun, riding horses and finding frogs and lizards in the yard. We do summer reading, concerts at the park, walks around the lake, hiking, bike riding, playing in the yard, a little school work to catch up, tee ball, and house work. To say the least we are anything but bored:)

Summer Fun

Met the backus family at slide rock az for a fun birthday for karissa. The big number 7!! we have been doing a lot of fun family things in between working on the house this summer. We love the Backus family thanks for meeting us!!

Good times

Summer is going good we are trying to finish up some of our house projects before my parents come and do more. We bought an older home so that we wouldnt have house payments and are fixing it up for those that didnt know. Yes it has been a lot of work, but I have to say no payments is pretty nice. We planted our garden a bit late this week, but hope to get some yummy food at the end of summer. One of jonathans athletes did great at regionals in the heptatholon 14th out of the whole southwest- he was pretty proud of her. Enjoy summer everyone- we sure are:))

Sea world trip

Headed out to san diego for sea world and had a blast. We spent four full days a sea world and then some time at the beach too. The girls all had fun and kyra is now loving the big roller coasters- uggh:) Hey it is better then going on the tea cup ride with the little ones a million times though. We are addicted to staying at holiday inn now-it is such a nicer hotel for families. Well we will be headed home today, one long nap for most of us:)

New house with lots of projects.... here are some pictures finally. One of the zoo and one of kyras 9th birthday too. Not having the net at home makes it harder to post. I am posting at safeway parking lot with free wireless:) Miss you all and hope to see people when they are heading through town:)

Moving in and Fixing up

So we are in our new home now and have worked 10 12hr days and are starting to get things ready to move in now. Our new home is a bit of a fixer upper unlike the other homes we have bought. But it is looking a lot better everyday. I hope to have some pictures in the future-right now i am still lucky to get a shower once in awhile. We had to stay at a hotel for a week so we are glad to be out of there.

So we have, tiled, new heat ducting, replaced water heater, replaced doors, lights indoor and out, put tons of trim up with paint, closet doors , gutted bathrooms and redone, finished a lot of grouting, redone gas, new appliances, and much more. So we have been busy and with the tons of help from my parents- we would be really deep in it still if it werent for them. We are still all alive and well though still, we hope to unpack some of our things this week. We are planning on putting our fence up this week too though:0 We miss all our friends in NM and hope all is well. Sorry I havent kept you posted till now. XOXOX

Girls singing recital

The girls had their singing recital tonight, mckenzie and Addyson had fun watching and cheering them on. It was very cute. The girls sure did know there songs good- very fun songs. Since we do part regular school they get to do these fun school stuff along with the homeschool. When we move they are going to see what regular school is like. I think that they will have a lot of fun. They are such fun girls I think that they will miss each other not being with each other the whole day. It is cool to see sisters who are such good friends too. I hope that Addyson and Mckenzie have that too one day. Good job girls you did great!!!

Happy V-Day.

Happy valentines everyone. Our bags are packed and we are ready to move in two weeks- let the count down begin. We will miss all our friends here in NM but we will be sure to come visit when we come see the grandparents. Addyson is growing up so fast and is already running around chasing her older sisters. If there is ever a toothbrush in site she will have her hands on it--future dentist??. Mckenzie is counting down the days to be with her daddy again.

SOLD!! We are outta here!!!

Thank you everyone that has been keeping us in their prayers. We sold the house to a very nice couple and should close end of Feb. The girls and I will be moving on valentines!! Happy valentines to us!!! Yahoo, yahoo, yahoo. Thanks again everyone. I cant wait to be outta here and back with Jonathan- four kids on my own is more work then I bargained for. I feel like a million pounds have been lifted off my shoulders.

-another of our favorite places. Now karissa no longer has long hair, she cut it off a couple of days ago for locks of love- she said "I want to give my hair to the kids that are sick and dont have hair" She is so kind and loving.

Holidays

So holidays were great. Grammy and papa came to visit, plus dad was home for two weeks. Our good friends the Betts came for four fun filled days too. The girls enjoyed tearing threw the presents and spending a relaxing day playing. No we did not get our christmas wish of selling the house, but we did have a lot of people come look which is good. I got a down comforter which is so nice and warm and jonathan got a new tool set(which I desperatly needed:)) We are praying that we will have an offer on the house this month and be out with the wind. Addy learned the word "cheese" & "cup" over the holidays too. I have some great photos that i will post later tonight. Happy New Year!!! Its gunna be a good one.
